Right Click on the Norton Icon in the task-bar.

Click on settings.

Click on the icon next to Microsoft Office Automatic Scan to toggle the setting between the on setting & off setting under the computer scans.

Click ok.


If Norton is not available on the task-bar, follow these steps:


Click on the Start Menu button, and then select All Programs.

Select Norton Antivirus.

Select Norton Anti Virus from the listing of Norton Anti Virus shortcuts.

Click Settings.

Under Computer Scans, click on the icon next to Microsoft Office Automaic Scan to toggle the setting between the On setting and the Off setting.

Click OK.
